Hi everybody!
I'm a newbie ... and I've already a little problem...
I installed on my windows XP pro with outlook 2003 the "Desktop Manager", but when I try to configure PIM selecting MS Outlook, the software doesn't find any folder to syncronize. So I clik on "browse", but anything doesn't happen...
I' tried to reinstall the software, but anyway it doesn't work...
Can somebody help me?

In your Outlook, is your main folder named "Personal Folders" ?? That is the default desktop manager looks for in Outlook.

Yes, it is!

I assume you configured the Desktop Manager to synch your calendar, contacts, tasks, etc with Outlook?

Yes, but I can't browse the right Outlook folder (and the Desktop Manager show the path box empty)

Strange. You may want to remove the desktop manager, reboot, and re-install it.

Actually, the default is whatever your MAPI profile points to.

Create a new MAPI profile (go to control panel > mail > show profiles and create a new one, but point to the old .pst file). Once done, configure the desktop sync software to use the new profile. Open Intellisync, click configure PIM, select an app, click choose, click options and use the drop down to set the new mail profile. Repeat for the other 3 apps. Should resolve the problem.

Outlook does some bad stuff with the MAPI profile. #1 cause of sync issues with DTM and outlook is the MAPI profile.
