Default Wireless Activation - Help!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

Currently running 2 Exchange servers all the mail currently comes into an Exchange 2000 server I'm currently migrating everything across onto Exchange 2003. The users that will be using the BB are on Exchange2003 SP2 (CDO.dll Ver 6.5.7638.2)

I'm having problems activating BB via wireless activation, I have created the account and set an activation password, however the handheld device just says Activating (Email Address) and then after 20 mins just crashes out. I'm aware that an email should pop in and out of the users account with the encrpytion keys etc however the email doesn't disappear it remains in the users account. I have copied across the above mentioned cdo.dll file and have registered it.

Before I tried Wireless Activation I had the BB working via a usb cable which was fine I then wiped the device before trying the wireless.

Please help as I'm about to stamp on the BB!

Cheers

if the email is getting stuck in the inbox and not getting picked up, you should stop adn restart the BB controller and BB dispatcher services.

this will work 95 percent of the time.

peace

and if you haev alot of users this will stop functionallity for a bit because the users mailbox's need to be rescaned by the BES but it will fix your activation issue.

peace
