Hello,
I'm having some issues creating email filters directly on my blackberry. We receive e-mail from one of our systems that notifies us when something is down. I setup a filter for this e-mail to forward to the handheld with Level 1 Notification but whenever I receive an e-mail is appears as a regular e-mail and does not ring as a level 1 message. Here is what my filter looks like...

Filter Name: IP Monitor
From:
Sent To: (my e-mail addy)
Action: Forward
Forward with level 1 notification

I also have the "If no filters apply, send email to handheld:" set to "YES" and only the 1 filter I created called "IP Monitor" exists.

My active profile is set to only ring if a level 1 message is received but for some reason it never rings at all which means the filter never forwards with level 1 notification.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

I checked my settings for a filter. I do not have anything in the field Sent To. Also, I made sure the From Name matches what the address looks like in the email. For instance, our company email addresses are . However, when an email comes to me, it says from "Your Name". I set up my filter to reflect "Your Name" instead of .

Make sure your setting the active profile correctly since there are out of holster and in holster settings.

Thanks for the replies but I found the issue. Everything was setup correctly but for some reason my Wireless Syncronization was not working and the filters that were set on the BES were the ones working and not the ones set on my BB. I performed an Enterprise Activation and both filter rules were then matching and my everything seems to work fine now. Thanks
