Hi,

I had some problems installing an app (Google maps upgrade). After I was done the browser icon on the home screen is gone. It's not hidden, it's simply gone. The T-Zones icon is gone as well (I'm on a T-Mobile 8700g). I can see the browser in the applications listing under options. What may have happened, and how can I get the browser back? I tried to restore my most recent backup, but that didn't get the browser back either. I have also tried the re-register thing from the FAQ. No go. Think I will reinstall the OS and then my latest backup.
