this may sound like a stupid question, but I am new to BB. I have my BB set up through my employers Exchange Server via an Enterprise License. Is there a way to not receive emails on my BB when I have my Outlook open on my laptop?

I set the BB to Phone Only when I am at my office, but then I have to delete all messages for that day later on the BB. For some reason, when I delete in Outlook, it doesn't delete on the BB and vice versa.

I just want to receive emails on the BB when I am not at the office, which is obviously when I do not have Outlook open.

You can go to the BB Desktop manager and go to redirector setting and check the box, Disable message redirection while your device is connected. Of course you need to have your BB connected to your laptop to work.

thanks. all the synching is done wirelessly, so I have never had a need for the software. I guess I'll have to load the software
