Default Selective Restore of Autotext entries?

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying to do a selective restore of Autotext entries from a backup. In the DTM backup / restore dialog box, the right arrow is greyed out and it won't let me copy the autotext entries from the backup file to the device.

Any ideas on how to make this work?

Thanks,

Mike

Default

Assuming your on BES 4.0, after deleting the Desktop [SYNC] service book, you should be able to restore the database to the device. In the test I preformed, I was able to pull the database from the device without deleting the service book. After you have restored the auto text, a undelete of the service book will bring the Desktop [SYNC] back.

As a side note, the device will preform a slow sync after the undelete, which may/may not over write the database (not 100% sure there) since it is a database that is automatically restored during this process.

Thumbs up Thank YOU!

I have been trying for days to deal with this same issue, and your answer saved me from having to re-enter over 200 autotext entries manually. Outstanding!!
