Default Some Questions

Hey all, I've never owned a Blackberry but i would like to. I just have some questions about the Verizon blackberries(as i currently have a plan with them). I would really like to instant message on my phone, i see that Tmobile advertises that you can IM with AIM(and other services) but i don't see it with any Verizon blackberries or smartphones.

So my question is can i somehow IM with a Verizon Blackberry? Can't really get a straight answer when i call verizon either...Also how is the internet web browsing on the Blackberries? This would be my first one, so im not sure about their features or OS really. And it seems Verizon's prices are a little higher than tmobile...worth it or no? I like the 7250(which verizon currently has), and 72xx series actually better than the 8700g, just seem a little more spacious, thinner, and more durable. But i'm not sure if Verizon will be updating anytime soon?

Also 1 more question is, is full internet browsing included with most the blackberry plans? because i see that you can get voice and data plans, i assume the data means internet? then i go to tmobile and i see they have all kinds of things like, Blackberry email+web browsing, then "Tmobile internet" on and on. What do i need to buy to just have unlimited internet, email, txt + instant messages? ok i should really just go to their stores hah.

Any suggestions, answers or comments would be helpful thanks.

The answers to your questions can be found by searching the forum, but to give you some quick answers:

1. You can IM with your VZW BB by using a number of third party apps. A good free app is GoogleTalk from Google.

2. Web browsing on a BB, in my opinion, is better than browsing on a standard cell phone. Larger screen, more emulation options, and so forth.

3. According to a thread under the Rumor Mill forum, VZW will be launching thier version of the 8700, the 8703e, in mid to late September.

4. Full Internet browsing is included in the VZW Unlimited BB Data plan, which for the most part is required when purchasing a BB from VZW. What is not included is text messaging. You have to purchase one of their text messaging plans if you want to avoid the $.10 per message charge.

You can use Google Talk (free) to access and use your AIM account. Check out the following link:
