email signature without BES or outlook? I'm trying to remove the default market signature from my sent email so I can add my own versions using auto text and not advertise where I am working from. (T Mobile 7290) Unfortunately, I don't have a BES or an exchange server, and I cannot get redirector to start (not that I really want to use it anyway, I just want to change the signature) I'm very new to the BB world, and I am probably missing something, like a T Mobile account that would get redirector running. Help? |
You can change the signature on the blackberry. Go into your messages and click the wheel for options. I think it is on that screen on the 7290 or it is in EMail settings if you have choices inside the options screen |
If you are using BIS, you can log into your email client online (like t-mobile.com's email) and change your signatures there. Go into the email section and click on the edit icon for each email address and itll take you to a new webpage giving you the option to change the signatures. |
aha. Apparently this is one of those insanely intelligent decisions where the field is *uneditable* when accessing the site from a blackberry, but editable if I go to a pc web browser. All is fixed. Now I need to try and find a way to remove the silly ppreprogrammed bookmarks |
IIRC the TMO-provided bookmarks can't be removed. |
