1)When I originally installed my current version of Desktop Manager (4.1.1.9) the program asked me if I wanted Desktop Manager to begin every time windows was started. I de-selected that option. I've changed my mind and I'd like Desktop Manager to launch at each start up. Other than re-installing the program, how do I do this? I am running Windows XP and using an 8700g if that matters.


2) On quite a few occasions when I manually launch Desktop Manager I get the following error message: "Handheld Tools Desktop Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I close the error box, relaunch Desktop Manager and the same thing happens.

Does anyone know how to go about troubleshooting this or what is causing this?

Is your blackberry plugged in when you launch the program. It was doing that to me today and as soon as i unplugged the BB and satarted the app everything went fine. wierd.

According to Microsoft, this is a known problem and RIM is working to eliminate it.

We have had a few customers call in and complain about this recently. I'd be curious if anybody has any ideas......
