Default Hello, everyone.

Please Login to Remove!

Hello I'm a new Blackberry user, I just purchased an unlocked cingular 7290. I don't have a data plan at the moment, so i'm just using it as a phone. (I'll probabally add data on to plan after next bill). Anyways, what I was wondering was if there was anyway to just add ring tones straigt from PC to Blackberry via usb cable. Because everytime I plug the usb into my PC it says the Blackberry hardware is recognized and installed, but nothing happens, the folder manager, thing a ma jig, doesnt come up or anything. Help appreciated, thanks in advance.

There is a way to add ringtones using the USB cable and desktop managerM which I think you still need to installbto your PC, but the procedure is quite involved, and requires installation of two different development packages. If you still want to try, look through the Ringtones, Themes, and Wallpapers forum.

Hope this helps.
