Default Rogers customers: OTA downloading of JAD files works!

Please Login to Remove!

Now we can download applications directly without having to upload them manually using the JDE!

Go nuts, send your success reports here!

Great to hear!

T-Mobile users are also able to do OTA downloads as well, just so you know!

Doubtful, this feature was only released in version 3.6 of the BES, so it's only a fairly recent phenomena..

good to see rim didn't wait too long to add this feature though, without it how do you propogate the market for third party software that would drive blackberry sales up?

This also works on TELUS Mobility...and with my $50 Cdn unlimited plan, I don't have to worry 'bout overages.

Hmm, we installed our BES in April of this year and it's the 3.6 exchange version so I guess I've always been able to do it, but only recently used it with the blackberryclub.com download links, which work great BTW!

Speaking of testing HTML browsing and OTA downloads,

I just posted DIBS on BIBS -- JavaScript/Tables/Backgrounds/Animations ... with my testing of the new enhanced 4.0 browser with a 4.0 server (Rogers BWC 4.0)

Doesn't work for me on my 8700g via any number of browser simulations - then again, I'm a newbie so hopefully there's an obvious answer...
