Default Wiping handheld

I've never done this but based on all of the problems I have going on I am considering it. What exactly happens and what all do I lose by doing this? I am (unsuccessfully) running a 7290 with BES on Exchange 2003.

A 'wipe' will delete ALL data and you will need to resync (or redo the enterprise activation if you have BES 4.x) to use the device again.

What type of problems are you having?

I've had better luck nuking the device using javaloader.exe and then reinstalling the software.

Try wiping it first.
IT will take it back to the base f/w build of whatever ver you have installed.

I am having wayyy too many problems to make this handheld worthwhile, but I do need it I guess.

Here is a rundown of my problems:

Where to start...lots of issues

I have not installed anything else on the handheld. I simply synch up with my Outlook for calendar, contacts and tasks, and use it (well, not so well right now) for email forwarding.
