Default Child Contacts Lists ?

Please Login to Remove!

First post, so go lightly on me.

We have Exchange 5.5 (unfortunately) and BES 4.1 here on our corporate network. Unfortunately, I cant seem to get child Contact Lists to sync to any of our handsets.

Example:
Main Contacts List (44 contacts)
Child Contacts List (12 contacts)
Child Contacts List 2 (10 contacts)

I'm seeing that the 44 contacts are being synced, but not any of the other ones. Any ideas ?

It will only sync one contact list, and only the one that it's mapped to. The default is the main contact list.

You'll have to import the children's contacts into the main contact list. It's only 22 contacts total, so a little click-n-drag won't kill ya.

Your main contact list will now have all 66 contacts, but that's the only way to get them all on the Berry.

bummer :(

the numbers were used as example, there are probably about 300 entries split between 3 child contacts lists...

You should be able to map to the additional folders using desktop manager - (Intellisync, configure PIN, addressbook, Choose, Browse, select the contact folder, click the add button choose include sub folders

I've found that when people use the desktop software it kills connectivity to the BES server. We dont supply the CD's to the users and we activate the device over the air in the IT department before deploying.

is there any way of doing it through BESAdmin/the handset ?
