Push Not Pushing
For the last two days my work e-mail is not being "pushed" (my Cingular account doesn't seem to be affected) - instead it seems to be reconciling twice an hour or so (seems to be some irregular periods). This weekend we had some issues with our servers at the office that took e-mail offline for about 48 hours. When that first happened I thought it might be my BB (7290/Cingular) so I went to BIS 2.0 and had the service book sent.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I have notified our IT department but haven't heard back.

if you look around you'll find plenty of threads where people are having delivery issues with BIS 2.0.

If your not getting your BES accoutn this issue has nothing to do with BIS. I would try regenerating encryptions keys, register on the wireless network, and hard reset the handheld. If your feeling really frisky, you can delete and and undelete your Desktop [CMIME] service book. You may want to wait on yout IT department before you go that far. Then again, none of these things should make your situation any worse. Your already not getting your BES mail, right!

i only saw a mention of BIS, but yeah.. if he's running BIS and BES side by side, and having problems with the BES side... why not just take it up with IT, thats what they are there for after all.

There were issues on the work side. I did a hard reset of my handheld followed by a reboot of my computer and voila! things started working again. *whew* I have informed my IT department of the problem I had. Thanks for the help!
