Hello,
I have a BB 7520, and I am trying to take images from the BB and put them on my desktop, and vis versa. I do not have internet access on my BB, so its hard to put them on the web, and I can not email it to myself. Can someone assist me? I would greatly appreciate it.

Why can't you email them?

Because I turned off all my BB services.

Um......then you're kinda out of luck. I'm pretty sure there isn't anything that allows you to move files between the device and a computer via some type of hard connection.

Or import files to the .ipd file

Not that I'm aware of. Perhaps a more knowledgeable member will chime in, but I think your out of luck.

Just curious - why do you have a BB if you don't have data on it? Just for phone and manual sync PDA?

There has to be some way to emulate it.
Is there a backup extracter?

None that I have ever heard of. RIM prides itself on security. Something that could analyze the IPD backup file would violate that model big time.

What about pulling/putting indivudual files?
This is what I am trying to do.
I have 2 pictures on my BB that I want on my laptop.
I have 1 picture on my laptop, that I want on my BB.
I've stopped using my BB data package, so I can't send mail
or access the net. Any suggestions?

If your BlackBerry runs OS v4.1 you could use Berry Pix 2.0 to transfer pictures from desktop to it via the BB Desktop Manager. Then you could use Berry Pix to save the picture from Berry Pix's store to the built-in pictures application. If your BB does not run this version of the OS you could try upgrading - be careful to do a full device backup before attempting this if you go that route!

I can't help with moving pictures from BB to Desktop tho!
