Use NUM and the scroll wheel to highlight multiple emails....then click delete.

Also, you can highlight a date (not an email, a date) in the Messages list, click the wheel and select "Delete Prior". This will delete all emails from that day and any prior days from your handheld. If these emails are also on the BES, they will remain on the "regular" server (i.e. still available in Notes, Outlook, etc.).

Delete Prior

- I do that a lot, since I mainly use the blackberry to read email, not store it. That way when I delete prior all my mail is still in my lotus notes mail file.

A couple of other tecniques:

If you want to delete several e-mails in a row, but not all of them:

Hold down the ALT key and scroll through the e-mails you want to delete to highlight them. Then click the track wheel and click "Delete" from the sub menu.

If you want to only delete e-mails from a specific sender:

Select an email from the sender you wish to delete. Click the trackwheel and select "Search by Sender". When your BB is finsihed finding all e-mails from this sender, click the track wheel and select "Delete Prior" from the sub-menu.

Well on my 7103e, I can hold the uppercase button (not the num lock) and scroll over the emails and then with a click, get the option to delete. So, kinda like what bpdunsta said.

You can also press the DEL key instead of clicking the trackwheel.
