Default need BIS help ASAP!!

Please Login to Remove!

So i bought my BB 8700c used and it only has the icon for BES. There are no browsers or personal email setup icons anywhere. Thats the first problem. Then, I finally figured out how to set up my account with Cingular and I found the site where I can set up a new account and when I enter my IMEI and PIN numbers it tells me there is already an account for that PIN and doesn't let me advance. Im so frustrated with all this shit and the Cingular tech support is closed for the night! Anybody got any advice on how to solve these problems?!?!

sounds like the person that you bought it from still has it registered to their BIS account. I would contact them and ask them to kindly remove the handset from their registration on BIS.

First off, wipe the device (via security in options). Second, you need to have Cingular dis-associate the BIS account tied to the PIN and IMEI of this Blackberry. Then you'll be able to actually get it set up properly.
