Default Meeting Request on BIS

Please Login to Remove!

I have BIS not BES so i get all the emails fine. but everytime I get a meeting request, i will have to copy the whole body and paste it inside the calendar to create an appointment..
how hard it will be for RIM to include an "accept" action so that that can just be added to BB calendar..

as hard it is for you to get put on a BES cuz thats the only way youd be able to accept meetings. you need to be able to sync the calendar wirelessly to accept meetings.

Support for iCal or vCal is easy to do. But RIM would lose a big part of their business, Blackberry Enterprise Server, if they did that.

Are Exchange meeting requests really supported on non-Exchange email systems anyway? It seems like the finger is being pointed in the wrong direction here...

I don't think so. Most calendar apps (outlook, google, yahoo, etc) will send iCal or vCal attachments on meeting invites. The blackberry (without BES) does not accept them.
