Archiving Gmail messages

Is there any way to "archive" your gmail messages after reading them on your BB?

Or do they just stay in your inbox? If you delete them on your BB do they go to the trash on the gmail webite?

TIA

You have to configure Gmail to auto archive the messages after forwarding or POP access.

You can set your email reconciliation to only delete on handheld, both or prompt you so that you can choose to delete them in your gmail account, handheld or both. Go into you inbox and go into options and email reconciliation. Under message service, you change change which email service to change.

OK, soi its possible. But what if i dont want to archive an email...eg. I receive an email, read it on my BB but want to keep in in my inbox.

Theres no way to select which emails to archive and which to keep in my inbox while using my BB?

Ok, so i could delete all emails on my BB after readying/replying, and have them remain in my inbox. Then I would have to go on my computer to archive/save the emails that i read/replied/deleted on my BB?

That's right, until/unless RIM supports remote folder management in the BIS.
