Default Blackberry Unlocked

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there, I wasn't sure exactly what category was best so I just put my question here. I recently had a plan with verizon on an old phone. The phone broke so I decided to get a blackberry. Does anyone know how to get an unlocked blackberry to work with verizon? I keep reading somethign about a sim card. Is there an additional fee and is there anyway to use the blackberry and not pay that fee?

Thanks

What model Blackberry did you get?
SIM cards are not used on the Verizon network, as Verizon uses a CDMA network.
You can't unlock a SIM based phone and use it on Verizon's network. You can only use CDMA devices on Verizon's network.
