Default Closing Desktop Manager bungs up Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

I use BES Express 4.1 and recently shifted my Outlook mail delivery from a .pst file to my Exchange mailbox...so am now using an .ost file and cached mode with Outlook.

I keep the unit cradled while in the office and have the Desktop Software running because I don't want messages delivered to the handheld when I have Outlook open.

I've noticed that when I shut down the Desktop Software and take the unit with me to lunch or whatever, that Outlook gets biffed. No mail is delivered to my inbox and none of my folders are accessible. In the reading pane I see a message telling me that some program that had been accessing my .ost file had stopped using it and that the folders cannot be displayed at this time (sorry...don't have exact text right now).

Does this strike a tone w/ anyone?
