Default Device Error 365!! on 7520

Please Login to Remove!

I have been searching the forums, and don't see much regarding this fatal error. Last night I was changing some typical options - like seconds for standby screen, and a couple others I thought were harmless. When I went to save it, I lost everything. Now I just have this Device Error 365 on screen and that is it. Can't get to anything else. I left the battery out of my BB all night, put it back in this morning and got the same error. My BB is now useless. Please help! I've only had it for just about a month now, and love it. I have Nextel service and am dreading what they are going to tell me when I bring it in.

Well, I work at a Nextel store... Good choice on the 7520, btw...

Basically, what you do is take your phone in, and any Authorized Service Center should be able to order you a replacement. It'll come in within 1-2 business days, and they'll charge you about 35 bucks.

The chances of Nextel actually having one in stock are pretty slim. So make that 1-2 business days from when they get some in stock..

The repair process is completely different from actually buying a phone. Plus, they aren't on back order anymore! :D

I had that error with my 7510 and I had to reload my operating system back in and it worked perfectly.
