Default phone rings once, then displays missed call

Please Login to Remove!

i posted this in the 8700 forum (since i have an 8700c) but didn't get any responses, so i wanted to toss this out there to the general forum and see if i can figure this out... people are starting to think i'm dodging their calls.

lately i've noticed that some of my calls (usually when i haven't used the voice side of the bb in a day or so, almost like it isn't fully registered with a tower) only ring once and then immediately disconnect (and show it as a missed call). i have asked the person calling and they say that it acts as if i diverted the call to VM (ie pressed the ignore button). i know i'm not doing anything though b/c most of the time the phone is on my desk in front of me... i'm running the telstra version of the OS, but i want to say that this has happened before i switched to telstra.

Wirelessly posted (Cingular 7130c: BlackBerry7130/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

If it never happened before you switched, then you could yet switching back.

i was saying that i believe it has happened on occasion before switching to the telstra version of the OS. worst case, i flash back to what i was using before... i was just hoping someone knew of a reason why this might happen.
