tmobile blackberry help!!!
i recently purchased a used tmobile blackberry 7290.i am currently a tmobile user but everytime i insert my sim card ,the blackberry won't let me input the password ,only when i remove the sim then switch it on again ,then it will let me input the password and let me into the home screen.does anybody out there know ,what's going on???

It's possible that an older SIM card won't work in the newer phones and Blackberries. You might need to get a new one from a T-Mobile dealer. Should be free. Also, consider resetting the Blackberry. That should wipe any leftover corporate IT security stuff that may be lingering behind the scenes.

I don't think that's it. I have an ancient Voicestream card and it works fine in my BB.
txparadise - exactly what message are you getting? Is it a SIM card unlock message?

I've got an old SIM from the Voicestream days too. I've been wondering how long it'll be before the gold contacts are too scratched for it to read.

thanks guys for the help,i found out that my sim card was to scratched up to use,so i ended up getting a new one ,which fixed the problem!!
