Hi, I'm looking into getting a data plan for my Blackberry (I've just been using it as a phone.) and I would like to know how this 0.5 MB thing works. Does thatjust restrict me from downloading stuff bigger than that or am I only allowed to download that much per month. If it's per month, I'd rather not pay $20 more every month just so that I can download 0.5 MB every month.

You won't be restricted for the amount of data you can use but if you go over your alloted amount you will be billed for the overages.

I haven't heard of a .5 MB plan for a BB. You need a BlackBerry plan, not just a data plan to use as BlackBerry. A BlackBerry plan includes the ability to use a BES or BIS server which just a data plan does not.

the . 5 MB plan is with rogers it is a blackberry plan... i actually looked at it last night just looking around...its pretty much a waste of money to buy .5 MB you might as well use your money on something with more because the cost of the more data will be just as much as your overage charges
