I was wondering if it was possible to set up several email accounts and customize the alerts within a profile. For instance if i had a yahoo and gmail account set up, is it possible to choose the yahoo account to ring and the gmail to be on silent? Or is it possible for the yahoo and gmail to both ring, but have different ringtones??

There is no way to set seperate ringtones/profiles for different email accounts.

Not sure your reasons to seperating email accounts. It is possible to setup exceptions from people listed in the address book to use a different Profile like a silent or vibrate proflile. This may also effect phone calls from the same person.

You could assign one of the email addresses as a level 1 notification which I believe allows a different ring/vib than the normal messages you get.

Unfortunately, my bb is away from me right now so I cant detail how....but search the forums for level 1 notification and you'll come up with a ton of threads about it. So essentially, this will be handy if you had two email accounts you wanted to differentiate.
