Default Someone Please Help..i'm Confused

Please Login to Remove!

how you doing first off i just got my blackberry i got the 7520, now normally i'm pretty good with electronics and figuring out how they work....well so is not the case with the BB lol....the forum has proved helpful so far but one of my biggest problems now is sending email...i was told that i would have to send text messages in the form of email and it would appear as a two way message from my mobile.....however when i go to compose new message it says NO MESSAGE SERVICES CONFIGURED. YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO SAVE AS DRAFT so then i go to set it up and it saysACCOUNT ALREADY EXISTS FOR THIS PIN....at this point i'm stumped i dont have the desktop software so from here i'm stumped...

1) Please don't type in all caps. It is considered shouting and some people may not even respond.

2) Nextel is different - do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan on your account? If not, you will have extremely limited use of your BlackBerry.

3) The Desktop Software (called Desktop Manager) is available from the RIM Support web site at BlackBerry

4) Check for themes (not a lot out there for the 7520) on the dedicated Ringtones, Themes and Wallpapers forum.

What is an unlimited web service pack?

Do you have a BLACKBERRY DATA PLAN on your account (I can shout too).

Seriously - please try to make the post more readable. I'm trying to help.

At the top of the 7520 screen, what does it read? It should show NXTL. What does it show on the top?

Have you logged into the Nextel BlackBerry Internet Server (BIS) and set up an e-mail account for your BB?

You will have to contact Nextel blackberry support and have them remove the account associated with the PIN.

If you don't know the password, have it removed. When that is done, you can create an account. At this point you can add a BB email address (xxx@sprint.blackberry.net - yeah, the sprint part blows, but...). At this point, you can send and receive email on your BB. Once you've done that, you can add the POP accounts you want to get on your BB using the BIS account.

Yep, the person who owned the BB before you is still set up with that PIN. One of the drawbacks of buying a used BB. Once you get the PIN released, you can set up your own account.

First I can't find for the life of me how to post a new message on here to even ASK my question!!

I have a problem with my email! Or is this normal? I have the BB 8700g and I want to know why every time I recieve an email on one of my email accounts, it feels the need to post it there AND in my message account. Like any email I get goes to the correct box AND the message box with my text messages. Is this neccesary? How can I JUST have my text messages go to the message box and NOT emails? PLEASE HELP!!

Kizz - first of all - don't double post

second of all - to prevent thread jacking, I will instruct you on how to create a thread in the general forum. Go to this link:

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ry-discussion/

After going to that site, press CTRL and the F key, and search for the words:

Threads in Forum

Just above the highlighted area you will see a button that says NEW TOPIC. That is how you create a post. Please start a new thread asking your question.

And only ONE thread...

Previously had answer to Kizz's question, but removed to keep this forum on topic.

The Messages folder has acted that way since RIM first started allowing multiple e-mail accounts. Everything goes into the Messages folder.

Only with BIS 2.0 did they start to split out the BIS e-mail accounts - but everything is still in Messages.

ATTN MODS - Feel free to delete the conversation between me and Kizz so the thread doesn't have crap in it.
