Default Voice to Text or Dispatch Service?

Please Login to Remove!

Now that I carry a Blackberry I deactivated my 2-way pager. One of the services I do miss is the dispatch service my paging company offered.

I was given a toll free number and callers would be connected to the dispatch operator, give the operator that message and the message would be sent to my pager.

Does anyone know of a similar service that I can subscribe to that would allow callers to have a message sent to my Blackberry?

How about these web based voice to text services?

Thanks

Sorry this is a little off-topic, but I had the same kind of paging service, and my friends would call it up and say the most foul stuff, because the Operator had to repeat back anything you said. VERY entertaining.

hahaha - a local radio station did that with the teletext service for the deaf. They called the operator and to another DJ they used the relay service to say all sorts of stuff.

Nextel used to offer the service but they stopped it about 6 months ago. Here is a link to the company they used. I don't know if they will sign on end users tho.
