Default Very impressed with Sprint

I have only been a Sprint blackberry owner for about 2 weeks but it still impresses me on the speed. Compared to my old nextel blackberry its amazing. Im offically addicted to using this thing as a modem. In my area I get Evdo everywhere so using my berry as a modem works at very good speeds. Its no roadrunner but its fast enoff that I dont need roadrunner anymore.
How many of you actually use your blackberry as a modem for your laptop?

ARGHHHH. I want to stay with Sprint, but won't upgrade, until they release a new QWERTY device.

sounds like you are impressed with Sprint's hardware and not Sprint.

Have you been in one of their stores lately?

I was in a nextel/sprint store about 3 weeks ago. I really like sprints network and there hardware but hate there customer service. I actually had my phone activated by a nextel employee cause they didnt have the blackberry plan added on there when it was shipped. I was told the 8100 would be out in November but that was by a nextel person (seemed to know alot more than the sprint people).

It does seem nextel ppl know alot more. Sprint reps had trouble even activating mine.

I'm loving this BB. Good voice quality and the speaker phone is great.

Sprint CS is simply the worst thing I have ever run into. Makes Nextel CS look outstanding. When you call Sprint CS you have to talk to 20 people to get something done. Nextel, not so.

I waited two hours in the local Sprint store and I have never heard so much BS from the CS people in my life! I don't do Spanish but I know BS when I hear it! <vbg>

I thought the title of this thread was a sarcastic setup for a tirade

Heaven forbid you ever need something from a Sprint store. I can honestly say that I can't think of a single reason that would make me walk into one ever again. With few exceptions, most everytime I went to a store with a problem, I was told to dial *2.

The techs on the Sprint Blackberry support line have always been helpful, if not always fast, in resolving my issues. For simple issues, the email support service is pretty good, as well.

Muddling through the endless array of support phone numbers on the Sprint site is always good sport for a boring evening at home.
