Default What is the ideal Today Screen to use for my BB?

Please Login to Remove!

Thanks for your help in deciding on a BB device. I lasted 20 mins with a 700w yesterday and had to bring it back for a 7130e. I've got email working and I'm getting the hang of it. The only thing is I'd like to have a quick Today Screen that summarizes my tasks, calendar for the week or day, in box, and voicemails, plus a google search field like the other pdaphones have. What should I use?

Lastly, is anyone getting their faxes redirected to their bb? I use eFax but the eFax messenger doesn't work on BB and the file type is proprietary.

Not sure about the faxing however one of the newer software releases just incorporated two new Today Themes. Voda and Demension.

I use eFax as well. If you go to the eFax website and configure your service to send the faxes to you as .pdf files instead of .efx files, you will be able to receive them and open them on your Blackberry.

As for the today screen, I prefer to use Pocketday Pro running on top of the Zen Theme. It has just about everything I need for an at-a-glance update.

PocketDay Pro on Insight-Icon is a solid combo.

Agreed on Pocketday Pro. Is there something about special about Insight Icon that I am not aware of?

Pocketday Pro and not the personal version? I'm trying the personal version right now. What do I gain with the pro version?

Also, I've searched regarding voice commands using the 7130e. Are you guys using voice dialing software with a bluetooth headset on your phones?

With pro, you gain RSS News Feeds, World Clocks, Currency Converter, Pocket Day Lists integration, and the ability to add Pocket Day Sports.

I like pro for the PDlists integration and RSS Feeds

I favor Insight Icon because the footprint of net_rim_theme_blackberry_icon_240x260 stands at only 293944 bytes on 4.1.0.327. Until either a minimal third-party theme comes to light, or until I find some time to create one, Insight Icon appears to be the minimalist theme of choice.
