Default 7750 Master reset

Please Login to Remove!
How do you do a master reset on a Blackberry 7750. I can not get my email set up until I do this???????? The phone does not have the web browser icon either?????? HELP!!

You may be talking about something completely different, but have you tried pulling out the battery for a few seconds?

  • Hard Reset - Pull battery for 30 seconds. Similiar to rebooting a PC.
  • Wipe - Go to Options > Security > Wipe Handheld. Erases all user data from the device and restores it to the factory default condition.
  • Master Radio Reset - Go to Option > Security > Master Radio Reset. I dont have a good explanation on what this actually does.

It is only on Nextel devices. It is similar to a *22899 on a 7750/7250/7130e

It forces the phone to provision the services on the network, it many times will solve issues related to phone number changes, not being able to connect or coverage issues.

I bought a used 7750 verzion blackberry I charged the battery powers on ok but it gives me an unlock icon I don't the password anyway to reset the device and start from scratch

Welcome to the forums,
If you type in the wrong password 10 times it will wipe all the data off the device and you can start over.
