Default Task synch problems

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever I synch up via Desktop Manager, the handheld updates Outlook's tasks to include a start date and due date...my tasks in Outlook don't have these fields and no matter how many times I change them back they eventually get updated again by the handheld. The due date it is using is Sat 7/8/2180...certainly a long time from now, but it's also entered start dates that are current which drops them from some of my views in Outlook.

Are there some settings for tasks that I'm missing in the handheld (7290)? This is so frustrating!

Odd. I just synched again and the due date was set to the year 2363. What is the logic of this?

Those sound like templates for recurring tasks with no end date. Go into your Desktop Manager/Intellisync and re-configure your PIM so that Outlook always wins, then go into Outlook and make sure you are not using templates for your tasks.

Thanks Nick.

Handheld was already set to 'mailbox wins'.

What is the easiest way for me to blotto (nuke) my data on the handheld without having to completely reinstall the handheld OS and all that other stuff? Seems like I might want to start from ground zero and just re-synch again to get it all over on the handheld.
