What would happen if i buy an unlocked 8700c and use it on rogers network? What do i do when i walk in to the store to ask for service? Will rogers allow it? Do i need to ask for any special requests?

Thanks,
BB pimp

Nope. If it's unlocked, walk into rogers, ask for a sim card, with a Blackberry plan. Specify you want month to month as you have an unlocked device.

As long as your device is GSM and unlocked you should be fine.

ONE POTENTIAL PROBLEM: your device MIGHT not work on the Rogers network if it is assigned to another carrier. You might want to get the pin/IMEI of the unit before buying to ask Rogers if they will add it..

However, you could use an unlocked blackberry on the GSM (no data) without any issues.
