Default Some BES Questions

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

We recently switched to link2exchange for my business email, before that we just jused a POP service. The BlackBerry is much more useful with an Exchange server and BES. I just have a few questions.

1) My personal BB, and 8700, was used with a link2exchange account I had before. Before I activated it with my new link2exchange account I did a security wipe. It activated and everything works. However, if I go to "View Folders" on the BB, it shows me my old exchange account folders and my new ones. There are no messages in the old ones, but I cant figure out how to delete them.

2) Currently I have the blackberrys set to delete on Handheld only. However, if I set them to delete on Handheld and mailbox, will it delete them in the mail box if the handheld automatically clears messages after 30 days? Or, will it only delete them in the mail box if I manually delete them from the handheld.

3) If I mark a message as unread on the handheld, should it be marked as unread on the mailbox?

Thanks in advance,
Christian
