Default some good ideas...

The more I use my blackberry, the more things I think of that could be improved. Some with cell phones in general, but some specifically to blackberries. I'll admit, I'm a graduate student, and this first one irks me til no end, because it happens a lot.

1. For phones into which you can program your schedules- anytime you have something scheduled, say, a class, or a meeting, your phone should automatically be set to vibrate.

2. All handheld consumer electronics should have a female USB-A plug (and some sort of *easy to use* file manager system). This way, you need one cord sitting on your desk that can interface and recharge all your devices. This also eliminates the need for 20-in-1 card readers. All you need is a flash drive. Maybe it doesn't have to be USB, but that is certainly the archetype with the most widespread use. Consumer electronics firms just need to agree on one type. Standardization is cool.

3. Ok, I don't have anymore right now...but does anyone have any other good ideas? or thoughts on mine?

Wirelessly posted (8700c: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Black electrical tape- hang here enough and find out why. Some time duck tape is better.

This is controlled by the profile. Modify the calendar portion of your profile to vibrate.

The USB cable that the BlackBerry uses is a standardized cable. Its a USB to Mini-USB 'B'. What do we need a card reader for? No current BlackBerry has removable media. The 8100 will have a standard MicroSD card when released.
