Default How do you view a PDF attachment?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,

I recently got an email with a PDF attachment and am unable to view it's contents. When I click on "open attachement" absolutely nothing happens. Is there any way to view a PDF on my 7250 OS 4.0 without having to download some additional software?

I searched through some previous posts and someone stated:

"you can just email it to your desktop and read it there"

How is this done?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on how the PDF was created.
If it's just a large image, or all images... then you won't be able to read it on the Blackberry.

We create a lot of PDF documents.
When I scan a document in (hand written reports turned in by employees), these will usually not be readable.
But, if I make a PDF from Excel, Word, or other word processing document, they will be viewable on the Blackberry

The pdf's I receive as images can be viewed, it just takes a bit of time zooming in and then enhancing. "receiving more" is a phrase i am starting to dislike for pdf's and tiff's (all my faxes are received as tiffs). pdf's created from scratch in adobe or from microsoft office applications open as normal text.

I use a program called Repligo and it makes viewing PDFs alot easier. Ig et all of my faxes via e-mail now and they come as scanned PDFs and this makes reading them an option.
