Default Device Error 499

Any idea anyone?

Unit doesn't boot. Doesn't even give me the error anymore. Just sits blank. I did get the hourglass for a bit, but now it seems completely dead. Not even flashing a red light.

btw, good luck googling this. I get nothing. Even the blackberry support knowledge database has no information on this error.

Sounds like a candidate for an OS wipe and reload.

According to Pinstack, device errors 400 through 564 are Page Faults, and require a reload of the OS.

yeah, I saw that page but couldn't view it cause I need a username/id to login. I don't see the point of registering with 2 bberry support forums and I like this one
