I have another question. When I bought my blackberry, it was my understanding that if I was using speakerphone or a headset, I could send and receive emails, even search the internet, while I am on the phone. Is that not the case?? Is there anything I can do (upgrade) to make this work? I have a blackberry 8700c... Thanks!

This is not a Site related news/problem.

Moved to the General BlackBerry Discussion section.

That requires a more advanced service that is not yet (widely?) available in the US. It should be available soon, but will require a new BlackBerry that works on that network.

As far as I know, at this time no US device - cell phone, PDA, or BlackBerry can do that over the Cell network anyway!

You're gonna have to wait for a 3G network like HSDPA or UMTS to use voice and data at the same time. I think Cingular is the first to be working on a new network.
