Default BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS)

Please Login to Remove!

Hey,

Fairly new to BlackBerry's, was curious as to if i got a Vodafone UK Contract with a BlackBerry, BIS all included, 200MB Usage Allowance, whether the Enterprise Activation would extinguish, or is there a way to remove this icon.

Also does BIS also do as BES would, 'Push' the email to the phone and trigger the LED responses as per the guide says it would, Red for new emails and such.

Now i don't have a BES Server, although i will ring Vodafone again tomorrow and ask to speak to a BlackBerry specialist, Ha, if i can find one, to see whether i could use my own BES Express Server in the office rather than use BIS for example, for a lesser cost.

Rgds,

Chris

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7130/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Bis depending on which email provider you use, polls your email from 5 to 15 mins then pushes it to your phone

Look in your manual about hiding and showing icons. It will explain how to hide the BES icon.

To hide the Enterprise Activation icon highlight it and hold down the alt button and click the track wheel. Select "hide application".
