Default BlackBerry CPUs

This may be a dumb question but...there are no dumb questions if you truly don't know the answers.

Anyhoo, I know that the newer BB's, the 8700's, the upcoming 8100, etc are powered by Intel XScale CPU's. I know the ancient 95x models used to run on old Intel 386 CPU's. Does anyone know what the make and speed of the CPU's that run the 7100, 7200, 7500 series BB's? ARM is the designer of the units, but I'm curious as to the company that makes them, and what the CPU clock speed is.

Default

ARM9

chip makers vary from unit to unit, in some cases. it appears that Analog Devices did the 7230, and possibly others.
