I upgraded to EVDO, ver 4.1, and I notice the 1XEV symbol. When Im at home and the coverage isnt the greatest, my coverage switches from 1XEV to 1x (small x) but I have 2-4 bars of coverage. Now I wouldnt mind if the blackberry switched to the slower non EVDO network, but I cant access the internet when I have 1x, whereas I could get on the internet before I upgraded. Does anyone else experience this?

Also if I were to wipe out the data on this blackberry and repload the data from a backup, does it just wipe out the programs or just the data. I am thinking of ways to get my 4.0 software back on this device.
