Default Viewing Non-WAP MLB.com and NFL.com Web Sites

Please Login to Remove!

Hey All:

Anyone know how to view MLB.com and NFL.com as an HTML page on a BB? Everytime I go to the sites, they insist on redirecting me to their WAP versions. i know they have a lot of bells and whistles on their sites, but I'd like to actually view more than just some generic text. Any ideas?

You can try Opera Mini, that might give you the full site. I wasn't able to get their html pages on the BB browser either.

Well, Duh. That works. Thanks for the suggestion. I was hoping there was an option to force the use of HTML on the BlackBerry Browser. While Opera is great, it doesn't render all pages very well. It tends to use a black background on a lot of web pages and it's just impossible to view the text against this background.

Thanks for the sugggestion.

Make sure you're using the Blackberry Browser (not your carrier's WAP browser).

In your Browser options, under emulation, choose "Microsoft IE", and then check every box below it. That will get you about as close as possible to a regular web browser.

Tried you suggestion about changing emulation and even "Content" to HTML only. That didn't work either. In fact, NFL.com said my browser wasn't supported. Thanks though.
