I believe if you just reload the OS (by downloading it from your service provider), and reload without restoring data, that would completely wipe the BB.

Have you tried using the Desktop Manager software? You can remove the app in there.

Next time just to be in the safe side... Alway and I mean always back it up first before you do something with your device. Just a friendly advice :D

Go to Options > Security Options > Wipe Handheld.

This will wipe your BB.

It won't delete Applications - "Wipe Handheld" only erase customer data.

Oh...funny...always thought it would. Guess that shows that I've never actually tried that. Too busy doing it the hard way...
