Smile How to hide emails sent from desktop/gmail?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I know to go to messages - options - general and select " hide sent" to hide emails sent from ur blackberry.

I'm wondering.. if i send an email from gmail, or my BES outlook account, that "sent mail" gets pushed to my blackberry as well.

how do i avoid that? or is thatpossible?

Newbie bb user, appreciate greatly any advice!

Cheers,

M

For your GMail (BIS) account(s), simply add a filter that doesn't forward emails sent From you to your BlackBerry.

For your BES account, in your Messages list go to Options --> Email Settings, CLICK THE WHEEL and select Folder Reconciliation. Expand your mailbox by highlighting it and hitting the Space bar and Uncheck Sent Items. Now items sent from your BlackBerry will still show up on your BlackBerry's Messages list and also in your Sent Items in Outlook, but emails you send from Outlook won't show up (or be available) on your BlackBerry.

It should be noted that emails sent from Outlook take up hardly any room on the BlackBerry as they only have header information. You need to do a More All to retrieve the full email.
