Default Contacts with extensions sync to BB

Please Login to Remove!

I have several contacts with phone numbers and extensions that I have synced to my BB from Outlook. The format I used in Outlook is 555-555-5555 x2222.

I just dialed one of these numbers and got to the administrator, but then the BB started to auto dial the extension. I reconfirmed on the screen that it was putting in a 2 second delay. I assumed that pause and waits had to be manually entered on the BB since the transfer from my Motorola phone didn't work. I have corrected each of these already.

How do I prevent autodialing when a phone number is formatted like 555-555-5555 x2222? Is the x causing the 2 sec delay? What should I change it to prevent this?
