Default Multiple IM Apps

Please Login to Remove!

I had a 7100 which had an IM app on it that let me connect to AIM, Yahoo! and ICQ. I just got a 7290 and I don't see the IM app on it. Both of the phones were through T-mobile.

Anyone know how I get it installed on my 7290?

The IM program you had is from T-Mobile. You can try to resend all your service books from T-Mobile, this might enable the program. I dont have T-Mobile and not sure if they offer an IM program for the 7290.

There are aftermarket versions from several developers. Check out the link below for more information.

I think you need to download it somewhere. I too had it on my 7100t but it's not on my 8700g. You must know this if you have used this program but be warned, the OZ AIM client from Tmobile uses SMS messages and not the data plan. It is not free unless you have unlimited SMS messages.
