Default Multiple Email Accounts

Please Login to Remove!

I am using BES to get my corporate email, and I used the "Setup Internet Email" to get my POP mail.

Now I have 2 folders, one for Messages and one for my POP account. The problem is, when messages come into mu POP account they appear in both folders. Is there a way to have them only go to the POP folder so my Messages folder doesn't get cluttered?

You will have individual folders for each email address, plus the "messages" folder. Messages headers from each of the accounts will be duplicated in the messages folder.

oops! jeffblackberry, I didn't read through to the last sentence before...don't know if can be done. The way I deal with it, if at some particular moment I'm only interested in mail in inbox X, then I look in X; if I want to see what is in X, Y and Z all at the same time, then I look in messages folder. Now that I think about it, that is the way I would have wanted it in the first place.

The message folder will always display all messages from all email accounts. No way to prevent this with the current version of BIS.

You can choose to "hide" a mailbox. I don't know if you can hide the main "all messages" mailbox but that would leave the individual mailboxes, one per account.

I've spoken with RIM about this, there is no way to keep the emails from going into the messages folder.
