Thumbs up Handango InHand for Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

I just downloaded the Handango InHand online software catalog thing on my 7290. It's really cool! Has anyone else tried it/liked it/hated it, etc?

Default Update to InHand

Okay, other than the cool factor...there really is no day to day usage for this app....I took it off...

Default InHand Catalog

Hi Teresa,

InHand is a catalog of applications for the Blackberry. It allows users to see screenshots & descriptions and download trial version of many apps for free. That could be useful to alot of people.

Hm

Wirelessly posted (Thumpers 7250: BlackBerry7250/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

Since this is a forum, now might be a good time to interject. I have used the Handango product before my blackberry days. I would stay as far away from this company as possible. Their customer service is so poor, it's non-existent. I will avoid buying a great application if Handangos is the only option (although I have yet to need to do without). So goes the saying, an unhappy customer will haunt you 9 times over... Well, Handango, here I am again. I'm still willing to accept a refund for the applications you never delivered to me. :0

I've bought several programs for my PPC from Handango and never had any problems.

Yes, I'm sure there are more happy customers. I never had any problems until I had to contact customer support. That's when the trouble starts. I had a Treo product that I had purchased, but would not work with my replacement Treo because it was tied to the ESN (replacement Treos = #1 reason to buy a blackberry!). If you've never had to contact customer service, then it's understandable why you've never had any problem. They're good at the "taking money for software" part. It's the "making it work or giving you your money back" part that seemed to be a challenge. Good luck.

The application would be far more useful if it offered more apps. I think it's far too limited to be useful.
