Default Moving to the US

Hi,

I live in Mexico and have a BB 8700. I will be moving to the US for about 8 months soon and I would like to activate my BB while I am there in the US. Does anyone know of a carrier that would let me activate for only 8 months if I bring my own *unlocked* blackberry?

Thanks!

Not sure, I would get in contact with the different carriers and describe your situation to see what they can do for you. Not sure how understanding they'll be but it's worth a shot.

I don't think there are any GSM carriers up here that allow you to use BlackBerry data without a contract. It's a bit of a pain, but you can always sign a contract to get a free BlackBerry and then sell the BlackBerry. That should cover or exceed the cost of the early termination fee.
