usually i have around 39 MB free on my blackberry, and i alway clear the cache on my browser when it reaches around 1MB. i haven't install any apps lately.

now it is 33.8 MB free even though i clear my internet cache and i only have like 5 email in my inbox. i did try to open up an email msg earlier this morning which contain an attach zip file which is a ms access file. the zip file is about 2MB. i hit "retrieve" but the thing never open. mabye it got stuck somewhere

so anyone know where is my 5.1 MB go? and how do i get back my memory? is there a place on the blackberry that tell u the size of ur inbox, apps size, etc.

Pop the battery out and then back in. What is the file free now?

Everything doesn't get loaded into memory when you start a BB; some applications get loaded the first time you run them, and they stay memory resident.

I wouldn't waste much time looking for the 5 MB, personally..
